School of the Nations Students Excel in the 2025 Kangaroo Math Competition

With 49 medals and honorable mentions, students from Elementary through High School demonstrated excellence and a passion for Mathematics.

School of the Nations' participation in the 2025 edition of the Kangaroo Math Competition reaffirms the institution’s commitment to academic development. A total of 121 students enrolled in the competition and earned 49 awards, including gold, silver, and bronze medals, as well as honorable mentions.
What is the Kangaroo Math Competition?
Held annually in Brazil and 95 other countries, the Kangaroo Math Competition is one of the largest mathematics contests in the world. Aimed at students from Grade 3 of Elementary to Grade 12 of High School, the competition challenges participants with logic and problem-solving questions designed to spark interest and joy in learning Math.
In 2025, 121 students from Elementary through High School participated in this edition of the Kangaroo Math Competition. A total of 49 awards were earned, including gold, silver, and bronze medals, and honorable mentions. See the full list of awardees below:

The Kangaroo Math Competition is just one of the many academic olympiads offered at the School of the Nations. With the aim of sparking student interest across a range of knowledge areas, the school also promotes participation in competitions in Portuguese, Astronomy, and Astronautics — experiences that nurture critical thinking, curiosity, and intellectual leadership.
