College Counseling
Selecting the right university is one of the most important decisions in a student’s life. At this pivotal moment, students need not only guidance and encouragement but also reliable information that empowers them to make thoughtful choices aligned with their values, ethics, and academic, vocational, and personal goals.
The College Guidance Department at School of the Nations provides this support through individualized counseling that helps students discover their strengths, define their interests, and explore the full range of higher education opportunities available to them. With two dedicated programs, Nations prepares high school students for admission to both Brazilian and international universities. Year after year, the majority of our graduates are accepted into the universities of their choice.
Beyond counseling, High School offers a variety of resources to strengthen students’ preparation. These include mock exams, study halls, ENEM Mock Week, and training for external assessments such as the PSAT and SAT. Students also take part in College Fairs throughout their high school journey and participate in university visits both in Brazil and abroad. The success of this comprehensive approach is evident in our students’ strong university placements, detailed in the 2024–25 College Counseling Report.

Testimonials from our Alumni
ENEM Mock
Once each semester, School of the Nations offers Mock Exams for ENEM. Test questions consist of actual questions contained on previous real evaluations. The environment and times of the mock exams simulate those of the actual test so students are familiar with what to expect.
PSAT
The PSAT helps students prepare for the SAT. The test is offered by the College Board® and given to students in Grades 10 and 11. This evaluation measures the same knowledge and skills as the SAT. The SAT is used by many American and Canadian universities for admissions.
College Fairs
Throughout the year, School of the Nations receives representatives from many universities from the U.S., Canada and Europe. These visits aim to share knowledge with students on all the programs, scholarships, payment plans, requirements for admissions, etc. at each university. Students have access to universities of most interest to them. For those who are still uncertain of their plans, these visits provide a good opportunity to discover the areas of most interest to them.
