The School of the Nations community came together for a day of reconnecting, welcoming, and celebrating the start of a new academic year.

On July 25, School of the Nations officially launched the 2026–27 school year with its Open House and Community Day. The event brought together students, families, and faculty for a morning that combined learning, connection, and celebration, marking the beginning of another year filled with new opportunities and experiences.

The day began with the Open House, where families had the opportunity to reconnect with the school environment, meet teachers and staff, visit classrooms, and learn more about daily routines, academic programs, and expectations for the year ahead. It was also a special moment for students to reunite with friends and for new families to be welcomed into the Nations community.

Following the Open House, the celebration continued with Community Day, featuring a special samba and feijoada lunch. Accompanied by a live performance from Carol Nogueira, families enjoyed a delicious feijoada prepared by the school's Kitchen team, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where students, families, and faculty could celebrate the beginning of a new school year together.

Open House and Community Day was the first major event of the 2026–27 academic year, setting the tone for the months ahead. It was a wonderful way to strengthen the bonds within our community and begin the new school year with joy, connection, and excitement.
