Nations students earn nineteen medals in the Canguru de Matemática Brasil contest

From Elementary through High School, 35 students were recognized for their performance in one of Brazil’s mathematics competitions.
School of the Nations students achieved excellent results in the Canguru de Matemática Brasil, with 35 students from Grade 4 through Grade 11 recognized for their performance in the competition.
Among the students recognized, 19 earned medals: five gold, eight silver, and six bronze. An additional 16 students received Merit distinctions, bringing the total number of Nations students recognized to 35.
The academic contest challenges students to apply mathematical reasoning, logic, and problem-solving skills to questions designed for different grade levels.
Participation in the competition is part of School of the Nations’ ongoing commitment to encouraging students to take part in academic competitions and Olympiads. Over the years, the school has supported and prepared students for challenges across different areas of knowledge, including Mathematics, Science, History, Astronomy, and Languages, expanding opportunities for them to explore their interests, develop their skills, and apply their knowledge beyond the classroom.
The celebrations will continue throughout the semester, as the 19 medalists receive their official Canguru de Matemática Brasil medals. School of the Nations congratulates all 35 recognized students on their dedication and performance, as well as the teachers who support and encourage them to challenge themselves and continue developing their mathematical thinking.
