Nations goes through the first phase of the new accreditation process with the NEASC

The NEASC Accreditation Cycle consists of five distinct phases, and Nations is currently immersed in the accreditation process, which will extend until the 2024-25 academic year

Nations is embarking on an exciting new accreditation journey in partnership with the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).

From September 26 to 28, we had the privilege of hosting Dr. Elizabeth Huergo, NEASC's Secretary and General Director, who actively engaged with our students, parents, and staff. Together, we delved into five critical dimensions of Nations as part of the initial phase of the NEASC Accreditation Cycle: Learning Structure, Organizational Structure, Health, Safety, and Security, Finance, Facilities, and Resources, Ethical Practice, and Boarding/Residential.

Our primary objective in exploring these vital aspects is to foster a refreshed vision of learning. This involves a thorough examination of our current school standing, an in-depth understanding of our institution's present reality, a clear determination of our future goals, and careful consideration of the plans we can implement to achieve them.

Who is NEASC?

The New England Association of Schools and Colleges is an independent, voluntary, nonprofit membership organization that collaborates with public, independent, and international schools in the United States and around the world. NEASC's mission is to assess, support, and promote high-quality education for all students through processes such as accreditation, professional guidance, and the pursuit of best practices.

Through our partnership with NEASC, School of the Nations will have the opportunity to demonstrate to our families, universities, and community that we have undergone a rigorous process of self-reflection and improvement planning to ensure exceptional education for all of our students.

We are truly excited to share this significant milestone with our Nations community and extend our heartfelt gratitude to every member for their invaluable participation and collaboration throughout this transformative journey.
