In an exciting showdown, our under-18 male basketball team demonstrated incredible grit and determination, competing fiercely in the Nations Basketball Cup!
This tournament took place on September 15th and 16th, featuring four teams - DF Magics, Mackenzie, EAB Bulls, and Nations Cougars. It was a true sports spectacle.
Our athletes displayed a remarkable performance throughout the tournament, culminating in a significant achievement: second place on the podium. They received silver medals, a testament to their dedication to basketball.
On the first day of the tournament, the audience was treated to two electrifying matches. The Cougars took to the court to face the basketball team from the American School, the Bulls, in a contest that kept the spectators on the edge of their seats. Meanwhile, the DF Magics clashed with the Mackenzie college team in an equally thrilling match.
In the battle for the bronze medal, we witnessed a fierce duel between the DF Magics and Mackenzie teams, where Mackenzie's athletes managed to secure third place, showcasing their prowess on the courts.
The grand final was a spectacle in its own right, with the Cougars and the Bulls competing for the gold. The Bulls emerged victorious after a match filled with exciting moments, demonstrating tremendous grit and sportsmanship.
